Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Medical Laboratory Scientist I for our Atlantic Consolidated Lab in Morris Plains for the Core Lab to work evening shifts including weekends as needed.

• Perform lab testing in the Core Lab and report results according to SOP
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP
• Maintain and manage laboratory supplies
• Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team

Minimum Education Required:

• BS degree is Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology

• ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification preferred

Minimum Experience Required:

• Experience in Hematology and/or Chemistry Departments preferred
