Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Representative I at Morristown Medical Center. Required hours vary, including every other weekend.


This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teenhiring initiative


AHS is seeking a Food Service Rep to work in the Food & Nutrition Deptment at Morristown Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Portioning, assembly, and delivery of meals to patients at Morristown Medical Center utilizing our room service program.
  • Attention to detail while completing these tasks is essential to patient safety while adhering to prescribed diet orders.
  • This position may also be responsible for other general kitchen tasks including but not limited to sanitation.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service during all interactions is an essential element of this position.



  • High School Diploma or GED required or will obtain within 2 years of employment required
  • If 16 or 17 years old valid working papers required


  • Qualified candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in Healthcare Food Service, or high-volume dining preferred
