Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Anesthesia Technicians for the Anesthesiology at Morristown Medical Center to work 6:30AM - 2:30PM, including on call and rotating weekends. 


Essential Function/Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Anesthesia Techs daily workflow and assignments 
  • Assists the Department Manager in implementing process improvement plans 
  • Performs duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Anesthesia Provider
  • Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia
  • Performs first level maintenance on anesthesia equipment 
  • Cleans, sterilizes, disinfects, stocks, orders, and maintains the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies


Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • Graduate from an approved ASATT school preferred 

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years Anesthesia Technician experience or medical background required.
  • 2 years staff supervisory experience preferred.


  • Certification from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists is preferred 
  • American Heart Association CPR certification required
