Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for the Cardiac Services Non-Invasive department, at Morristown Medical Center working 2-3 days per week.

***(Hours can start between 12/3pm to end at 9pm. including one weekend shift 8-4pm/9-5pm per month.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Perform diagnostic quality cardiac exercise stress testing procedures including nuclear and other pharmacologic stress tests. Downloading and processing ECG reports, Holter monitor application, and ambulatory BP monitor application in accordance with AHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of arrhythmia
  • Excellent customer service skills essential
  • Flexible and adaptable in working with coworkers and management to meet the collective needs of patients and physicians

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program strongly preferred

License/Certifications:

  • BLS certification Required
  • CCI certification Preferred 

Relevant Experience:

  • Prior experience with stress testing strongly preferred
