Atlantic Health System is seeking Full Time Patient Care Technician to join the Pediatrics Infectious Diseases department, part for AMG in Morristown, NJ. Monday through Friday hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:

• Will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks
• Will manage phones, register patients, schedule appointments, enter demographic & patient information, verify insurance coverage, accurately complete necessary forms
• Will managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms
• Will process precerts/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases, and other duties typical of PCT a physician practice.

Minimum Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience Required:

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
• Computer literacy essential
• Working knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR system desired
• Strong customer service skills a must
