The Social Work Program Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation, and operations of social work programs across the system. In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership, the Program Manager will provide leadership for the department and oversee the departments’ daily activities. The Program Manager will oversee the clinical, technical, business and regulatory activities for the system’s social work department. They will manage a team of social workers who are responsible for assisting patients, families and caregivers to achieve their care management goals related to illness, chronic disease, and psychosocial needs, as well as address the social determinants of health to support safe transitions of care across the continuum.

The principal role of the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety is to lead and develop a comprehensive and unified program that implements AHS's vision of excellence in clinical quality outcomes and patient safety, driven within a progressive, value-based care delivery model. ln collaboration with AHS leadership, the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety (VPO&PS) will establish a system structure that supports AHS through quality and patient safety consult and guidance, data analytics and analysis, quality and safety program oversight, report and strategic directives.
